Decent performance for the price

Considering I am primarily a portrait photographer, I refused to shell out a lot of cash for a 'novelty' lens so I figured even if this turned out to be worthless I was only out $35. The lens itself is fairly well made other than the flimsy pop-out hood and rubber caps. While the fish-eye attachment probably won't see tons of use, I really enjoy the macro attachment by itself. I've had close-up rings at 1,2 and 4x magnification but didn't use them much - the macro ring included with this must be 10x because it gets me in much closer. Like any macro photography you have to have ample light or a tripod for slow shutter speeds of course, but the images come out nice and sharp.
