I purchased this lens to take to Africa on a once in a lifetime trip. Every single photo shot with the lens came out poorly. The focus, exposure and color were all off. I had no problems at all with my other lenses on the trip. The photos were all crisp, sharp and bright. Eventually, I quit using it entirely.I acted as if a lens element was misaligned.Unfortunately, due to circumstances not germane here, I was unable to return it under the 1 year warranty. So it is headed to the landfill.I have no idea if the defect was unique to this lens ... just be aware of the build quality (none) and manufacturing quality control (woefully inadequate).
