Excellent value

I use the wide angle feature for shooting live bands playing and it has been nothing short of a blessing thusfar. I also am impressed by the quality of the macro shots as well. Some people get thrown off by vignetting in the corners during wide angle shooting (the black corners that one might see when fully zoomed out) but in my opinion I actually like the effect. I'd recommend this for any skill level photographer-videographer because for the price, I am now able to be more versatile with what I can shoot and I did so for less than $20.Obviously, you have to be careful with it so as not to break it. The lenscap of the wide angle tends to fall off easily, putting the lens at risk of scratch. Just be careful with it.

I currently use an 50mm 1.8 FA lense on my Nikon D5100 camera, which views as a 75mm lense. I got this to increase my field of vision, and allow me to get closer during macro shots. It helps dramatically when indoors and shooting where space is limited. The quality is as said, very good and for the price it was a purchase I would recommend
