This is a fast f1.4 lens for sometimes under $600.00 used. The comparable Nikon and Canon lenses, cost significantly more money. I bought a used one, and have been very happy with my purchase, it was like new. I have read that this lens can make a little noise while turning the focus barrel, and I can confirm that mine has a slight noise when focusing, be it ever so slight. At the price I paid it was a real steal!!!I really enjoy being able to shoot video at f1.4, the shallow depth of field this lens has, along with using a lower ISO/ASA speed reduces my sensor noise, and I think it gives my videos a nice professional filmic look, with again a lens that is very cheap for what it is.
