Opteka Macro Fisheye Lens Adapter, As Used On The Fujifilm FinePix S700

This lens comes with an adapter to allow the 52mm lenses to be attached to the 46mm front threads on the Fujifilm S700 camera. The .33 High Defenition Macro Fisheye Lens adapter provides a sharp image without losing any of the image at the corners, when the camera zoom is set for two-thirds of the widest zoom setting. At this setting, the image shows a "pincushion" distortion that is normal for any fisheye lens. When the camera lens is set to the widest possible zoom setting, the image has a visibly wider angle, but it shows some shadowing at the corners and at the left side of the image. With the macro lens attachment reversed for close-up shots, it still provides a sharp close-up image. This lens, when used with the adapter, can be attached to the camera lens or can be used with a polarizer or other screw-on filters. One of the reasons that I use the Fugifilm FinePix S700 is because the camera can be used with screw-on polarizing filters or other screw on filters. This lens adapters can be used even when screw-on filters are also used on the camera. I am very impressed with this adapter lenses.

I liked the way the photos looked. You kind of have to use digital zoom to get that full fisheye effect. also, i detached the macro lens from the fisheye to really give it that curvy look. I don't really use the macro lens to often, but when I did use it, the amount of detail I captured was about the same. It's more like a magnifying glass being held up to your lens. The fisheye part is great. Remember that, if you can, to use digital zoom instead of optical zoom to get the full effect.

I LOVE this lense. The only issue is that it does create a shadow when using the flash, so you might want to get an external flash if you really want but it's really not that bad. i love love love it!
