Choose this over the Nikon version

Having rented the Nikon version, I have no qualms using this 'unfamous' brand instead and am more than happy with the results and in saving big $. No extreme distortion. Cap fit isn't the best so make sure it is as snug as possible to prevent damage to a bulging lens.
