lots of fun, quality so so

My first mirror "lens" (BTW sounds funny, I hope it is the right name), so not too much to compare with.I have a lot of fun with the lens (never had so much focal length before). The quality is so so, but as I said, I cannot compare with other mirror "lenses".What wonders me is that I see kind of mesh with this "lens" when taking photos, which I do not see with lenses (refractors), but it could be just the not widely open aperture.Big cons is the manual focus, which can give hard time, rather not for fast moving objects (but this is what I bought).The other issue is that it is not explicitly said that it has only a converter for pentax mounting, so just standard TTL (which works quite good BTW). I was aware of this, but not sure whether everyone can be based on the product description.I am still thinking whether a not expensive refractor would be better, after all it is manual focus f/6.3 with TTL only, nothing more.
