Every time I have tried to use this lens I can never get the setting right. I would know exactly what to do in the old days when you had to use light meter. It is hard to focus in on something, even with a tripod. Glad to have memory cards instead of film. I keep trying get the settings correct by trial and error. At this point mostly error. I bought a 2x adapter for my 300mm lens and it works great. Maybe the mirror concept is throwing me off. Maybe someday I will get it right.
