Simple and cheap.

I use this exclusively when taking pictures of rooms when I'm looking at houses. I use it with a D90 on the stock 18-55mm Nikon kit lens with the 52mm thread. There's black corners at 18mm but go in to 19mm or 20mm and those disappear quickly.The wide angle is a bit distorted (naturally) but the field of view is comparable to 13mm on a 35mm frame it's easy to overlook. I rarely take wide angle photos for art photography, This setup is way cheaper than a dedicated wide angle lens and gives me exactly what I'm looking for, Good, cheap, super wide photos.And I have to say that the build quality is stellar. All metal construction with heavy glass elements. I'm sure this will last longer than the cheap plastic lens I'm using it on!
