Decent for the Price

I use my DV camera quite a bit. I realize that this lens is not top of the line, but it fit my need and budget. I use a DVX-100B and the lens did provide a wider angle. There is some slight blurring on the side (very slight) and slight barrel distortion. The very edges of the lens are visible but a small zoom will fix that. It does not have zoom through capabilities so it's primarily for getting that shot in the tight areas you might happen to be shooting in. Good for what you need but not the best of the best. I'd suggest it for anyone who has a small budget and can live with these slight issues.

Good Build...Really Heavy

This lens is decent. It's good for cheap. It's really heavy, and built really well. But I don't think it's as high quality as the more expensive lens for High Definition video. We'll see if I even continue to use it because it is so heavy. But a wide angle is pretty important for certain shots.
