Great quality, fit & finish. On the DP1 it allows you to get a bit closer than normal but nothing spectacular. The pictures are clear, sharp, and colorful... it is almost impossible to tell a close-up lens was used. I was looking for something to take me closer to the subject so I returned the lens. If you need to get about a foot closer to your subject, buy it, you'll like it.

Great close up lens no complaints about what it is. Build and optical finish is faultless.Somewhat expensive but has threads on both sides should you want to pop on another close up filter for flexibility later on..:)
