DX 7630 Adaptor not to Standard

The buy seems to be great and I'm very happy with the quality of the lens and the photo's. The Adpator however seems to be to short for the Kodak DX7630. If I add the adaptor and Lens and then switch the camera on the camera lens extract up to the telephoto lens and then switch off. The only work about is to first switch the camera on, zoom a bit and then attach the adaptor + telephoto lens - quite a hassle. I've mailed both the Supplier (Sakar) and the Seller (47th st photo) but up to now no response.

Great for the price

This telephoto lens does what it says it does. The Kodak Z760 is a great camera, but the only flaw is it only has 3x optical zoom. With this you have amazing quality 6x optial zoom. If you buy from kodak the adapter alone that is included with this product will cost you 20. For only 10 more you can get the adapter and the telephoto lens. I will be purchasing the wide angle lens from opteka shortly, im plesently impressed with the picure quality. I was skeptical like im sure some of you are as well, with the price being so low, but i must say you wont be disapointed with it. The only problem i see(which really isnt a problem) is you cant take indoor shots with this lens on the camera, it blocks the light to the lens. But of course it is a telephoto lens, which is for getting good quality close shots form far away, so indoors with it doesnt really make sense anyway...

Good First Impression

I have not taken any photos with it yet, but: It was delivered in 7 days with standard shipping. It arrived as promised with the adapter tube (Bower brand) packaged separately, which is black metal. The telephoto is metalic and platinum collored and had a dust cap on both ends and is threaded for attaching a filter or lens hood (46mm) per instruction. It was wrapped in a desposable cellophane bag and a small soft leather-like pouch with a felt lining that has a draw-string that smoothly closes the pouch when both loops of the draw-string are pulled. I had doubts since this set cost so much less than the Kodak brand, but both devices looked and felted to be of quality design and manufacture. They were immaculate, not a scratch, finger print, or spec of dust on either. This surprised me since such things are so easy to see on lenses. Everything fit. I may have more to say after use.
