Lens arrived quickly. No problem there. Lens itself is built well. The images are just ok. The sample photos are taken under optimal conditions and definitely photoshopped well. Straight out of the camera the contrast needs a lot of work. Definitely need at least a monopod to support it. I learned photography the old fashioned way, so I can handle it. If you're used to cameras with autofocus feature and have never operated a manual focus lens, this lens is not for you. I'm semi-happy with it. For the price, it's ok. But if you really want a nice 500mm lens and can afford it, spend the $10,000.
