Why say it's for Nikon if it doesn't come with a Nikon adaptor

This was my second attempt to purchase a 500mm mirror lens for my Nikon through Amazon. The first attempt was an Opteka 500. It came with a Canon adaptor rather than a Nikon one. I sent it back and bought this one. I paid extra for overnight shipping so I would have it for my vacation. This one came without any adaptor so it doesn't work on my Nikon. If the ad had indicated that I needed to purchase the adaptor separately I would have done that. But instead I have spent $160.00 on a lens I can't use. I can't tell if the lens is any good because it won't mount on my camera. Needless to say, I am very unhappy and am reconsidering whether I want to make any of my purchases through Amazon.

Very Poor Shipping

I haven't had a chance to test the lens yet, but I hope it is okay. The lens was shipped in the factory box placed inside a much larger Amazon box. During shipment the lens became seperated from the factory box and was rolling around inside the Amazon shipping box. There was not enough protective bubble wrap to protect anything. I can't believe that someone would ship a lens in this matter, in particular when it is being shipped UPS. I'm wondering about the individuals doing the packaging for Amazon. I hace also had 3 cd discs arrive with smashed cases.The description of the lens is wrong. The lens is not a Nikon AI mount, but a universal T-mount lens. The Nikon T-Mount adapter did come with it, but is rather cheap.
