It is quite cheap for a fish eye.though manual focus. but if you set to infinity and F5.6anything beyond 3 metres away will be in focus...

This Korean-built, Samyang-sourced, 8mm silver Rokinon lens is identical in properties to the black version, and, with a maximum 2.8 aperture, is faster than the 3.5 versions intended for Nikon, Canon, etc.Its optical construction is a fairly sophisticated system of 10 elements arranged in 8 groups, including one aspherical and two ED elements, according to the literature.The lens is high-contrast, with excellent flare control and color rendition for the price, as is its quality of construction.Its maximum angle of view is 180 degrees on the frame diagonal, so it is, indeed, wide angle, but also covers the full frame.The silver color is a bit brighter than the silver of the Sony NEX bodies, but it looks good on the silver camera; better than a black version, in my opinion.It has a thin, red highlight ring that distinguishes it from native Sony NEX lenses.It is a manual lens on the camera, and does not have the anti-shake OSS mechanism of some, but not all, of the Sony E lenses.All in all this lens a worthwhile purchase.
