Opteka 500mm / 1000mm High Definition Mirror Telephoto Lens for Panasonic Lumix DMC G1, GH1, GF1, G10, G2 GH2, GF2, Olympus PEN E-P1, E-P2, E-PL1, E-PL1s, E-PL2 and other Micro Four Thirds Digital SLR CamerasThis lens which is described as high definition has the lowest definition I have ever encountered in any lens and although it is very cheap it is a complete waste of money and will never be any use for what it is intended to be used for. I suppose it's a case of you get what you pay for.

I didn't pay attention to reviews because there is only two in this product. first error.Regardless that construction quality seems adequate, this lens is almost unusable, I don't know why is marked as an HD lens, clearely is the most blurry I ever see, you never can get it into focus, and with the teleconverter this get worse...SAVE YOUR MONEY... maybe $110 is not that much, but you can find other alternative for the porpouse, this is not functional even in the claimed MACRO function that with luck you get a fuzzy image and very narrow angle of view.

I am new to DSLR, but not totally clueless, it's an okay lens. Seems to be made well it just isn't as sharp as a "real" lens. The 2x converter is frustrating, but you get what you pay for. Save up and get a "real" lens, this one isn't worth the frustration. Nothing focuses no matter how near or far, it's always just out of focus no matter what you do.
