Love this lens.

I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of this lens. I was skeptical about this lens because of how cheap the price was. But once I started using the lens it surpassed my expectations greatly. The lens allows you to get much closer to your subject and the autofocus is much more responsive. The crispness and quality of my macro images is just awesome. I highly recommend this lens.

A Great Accessory for the Nikon Coolpix P5100

Used on the Nikon Coolpix P5100, this lens allows you to focus in Macro mode at the highest zoom setting, which is not possible with the native lens. This allows greater magnification at a distance far enough from the lens to permit adequate lighting without a ringlight. You can also zoom out to a wide angle and get in closer, but the magnification is not as great and lighting is a challenge. Because the full zoom range is available to you, multiple close-up lens diopters are not necessary. An excellent quality lens for the price. I have not tested this with other cameras, but I expect the result would be excellent with a 35mm to 50mm normal lens with a 52mm filter thread size.
