Hey, It's A Kit Lens...

The lens is pretty good, but it just wasn't as sharp as I wanted. Sure the price is right and you get what you pay for. It's very light and pretty small for 200mm zoom. Yeah, it will get the job done, just not what I ultimately wanted.I have already sold this lens, at a loss, to a friend who needed it for a trip and she's happy with it.So what did I replace it with?I bought, through Amazon, the Sony 18-250mm Lens and this one is definitely of higher quality and much heavier, now this one I would recommend. Of course, if you don't want to spend the extra coin then the Sony 55-200mm should suffice unless you really need the sharpness like I do. I guess you can fix it somewhat in Photoshop.Am I pro or hobbyist type of photographer? Hummm, let's say I'm a semi-pro since people do pay me for my pics, but mostly for my video shooting. Most of the stuff I shoot are artsy fartsy, landscapes and concerts.Hope this helps you out...
