Does the job, but significant chromatic aberration.

Item is marketed as one that is designed for the sony 18-55mm lens (55mm diameter).In reality, it is a 58mm lens with a step-down ring, which adds distance betweenthe original lens and the fisheye add-on.The lens does the job, but there is a noticeable chromatic aberration and significant blurnear the edges. Of course it is a lot cheaper than an actual fish-eye lens so I did not expectthe same quality.I tried it with the sony 18-55mm lens and with an older tamron lens.I think it is a good item for the user who wants to take an occasional ultra-wide angle picturebut not more than that.
